Harvest Riverside has a pretty amazing coffee shop built inside known as cafe 3:20. I was a bit blown away by it the first time I went to the Riverside campus, because it was nice and seemed pretty hip and relevant, but I think what stood out the most was the name. I asked myself, why 3:20? Shortly after I […]
“but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”https://ref.ly/Mt18.6;nasb95 ““Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that […]
“But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison.”https://ref.ly/Jas3.8;nasb95 While asking God what I should write about, I some how ended up in this verse, and thought about how I constantly deal with the restless evil and deadly poison of the tongue. I was getting ready to go to sleep after a long night at work, when the Holy Spirit suggested I write a blog. Lately, I haven’t been as on top of it as I was when I was just writing on Tumblr, I’m seemed to be more disciplined at that point, but God has His ways.

At this point in my life, I still think some of that stuff is pretty cool, but I’m not entirely sure as to how we came to that conclusion or why exactly we celebrated it that way when I was a kid, especially since we were Irish Catholic.
My Church had Randy Alcorn attend this Sunday, and if you haven’t read any of his books, you should. This is one that we’re reading as a congregation that Randy was willing to give to all of us, which was awesome by the way, if we were willing to commit to reading it. We in America tend to think that if we’re suffering, that we’re doing something wrong. The first thought that usually comes to mind is, what did I do to deserve this?
I tend to write late at night after I get out of work, but Sunday(or what feels like yesterday for me), was the beginning of what some like to call Holy Week. The week leading up to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Palm Sunday is particularly important, Because it’s about the triumphal entry, the arrival of the King, […]
